LAS VEGAS, NV — Bobby Khan, Republican candidate for Nevada’s 1st Congressional District, is officially launching his campaign this Thursday, August 21, 2025, with an event themed “Bobby Khan Unfiltered” at Dragon Gate in Las Vegas.

Once a well-known celebrity luxury car dealer, Bobby’s life took an extraordinary turn when his name appeared on the FBI’s Most Wanted list and he later served time for wire fraud. Bobby insists he committed no crime, but accepted a plea deal to shorten his sentence—an experience he calls a powerful example of government overreach and a broken justice system.

After serving his time and rebuilding his life, Bobby has emerged not in hiding, but in full view—using “Wanted for Congress” posters and references to his incarceration as part of his campaign brand. For him, it isn’t a stunt, but a statement. He has lived through the failures of the system, and now he is running to fix them.

A Platform of Bold, Practical Reforms

Khan’s campaign agenda is centered on reforms that directly affect Nevadans: zero taxes for veterans, honoring those who served by removing unnecessary financial burdens; no taxes on gambling winnings, keeping more of Nevada’s money in Nevada’s economy; prison reform, turning incarceration into rehabilitation and opportunity and ensuring non-violent offenders have a fair chance to rebuild; and economic opportunity for all, supporting fair-wage hiring practices and second-chance employment.

“I know what it takes to fight,” Bobby says. “I’ve been through it. And that’s what people need—leaders who are real, who won’t back down.”

The District at Stake

Nevada’s 1st District includes much of central Las Vegas, Paradise, Henderson, and Boulder City—one of the state’s most diverse regions, and a political battleground currently represented by Democrat Dina Titus. Khan says voters deserve a candidate who has lived through real struggles, not another polished career politician.

Event Details

The campaign launch, Bobby Khan Unfiltered, will feature actress Dawn Olivieri (Yellowstone, Lioness) and MMA legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Admission is free with food, drinks, and parking included, though seating is limited and RSVP is required.

Redemption and Resilience

For voters tired of politics as usual, Bobby Khan offers something different: resilience, redemption, and a refusal to back down. His candidacy isn’t built on image—it’s built on lived experience, scars and all, with a determination to make Washington work for the people of Nevada.
